Read this as a screen

This is an estimated proximity screen, not a finding of inadequate service. Barriers, stop conditions, reliability and destination reach require more evidence.

How it works

A useful first look, with clear limits.

1

Group small areas

Nearby census areas are combined. Areas below the privacy threshold stay grey and do not show local values.

2

Find frequent service

A stop qualifies only when the public TTC schedule shows at least six bus arrivals per hour during the selected period.

3

Estimate nearby access

Population is assigned to census-area reference points and compared with an 800-metre walking screen. Results are rounded ranges.

The selected-area example uses the OSM pedestrian network, but it is generalized and does not represent a particular resident.
